Hey babe, we’re Sarah & Chase
VAUGHAN PHOTO & FILM
I hated my office job and having the same day over and over. So in 2021, I quit my job and dove into creating the photography business I always dreamed of. It was absolutely terrifying, but I didn’t leave myself an out this time. I was all in, heart and soul.
I bought a camera and took any photos I could with friends and family.
And that’s when the magic began.
AFTER GETTING MARRIED DURING COVID, I TOOK AN EPIC LEAP
But I did marry my soulmate in 2021. I met Chase when we were both working at Walmart, and it felt like we were the same person – the perfect completion of life’s puzzle. He was doing a lot of cosplay photography when we first met, and we immediately had a shared love of stories.
I DIDN’T HAVE A FAIRYTALE START IN PHOTOGRAPHY
(THAT CAME LATER)
As someone who loves stories in all their forms: paintings, films, TV, books – photography has always been the creative outlet that has called to me. I was given my first camera when I was 14, and I was that kid taking pictures of everything and everyone I could: flowers, animals, architecture, friends… Over the years, it’s become my way of expressing myself and the world around me.

A DREAM DUO THAT WAS MEANT TO BE
But Chase was always there. He supported my leap of faith and was my sounding board every step of the way. He believed in me. And before we knew it, he was as invested as I was, even joining me as a second shooter during engagement sessions and wedding days.
After a while, we realized just how right it felt working together, creating together.
We know each other inside and out. We pick up where the other leaves off. We read each other's minds. It’s the most magical, in-sync creative partnership. But above all, we trust each other to be there fully and tell our couples’ stories the way they deserve to be told.
Together, we can capture every moment and support our couples in ways I never could have alone or with anyone else. And now I can’t dream of doing it any other way.

SHE HAS A SIXTH SENSE FOR SEEING WHEN I WAS GETTING OVERWHELMED AND WOULD QUICKLY SWOOP IN TO CHECK IN TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADJUST TO KEEP THINGS MOVING.
Our pictures turned out phenomenal! Sarah sent me so many with my sneak peaks and I’m in love with all of them! But more than her photography ability, she helped to keep me calm all day. She has a sixth sense for seeing when I was getting overwhelmed and would quickly swoop in to check in to figure out how to adjust to keep things moving. Wedding days are HARD, but having Sarah by your side makes it a lot calmer!
